CBI arrests MCD supervisor in graft charges

CBI today arrested an officer of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for allegedly demanding bribe for releasing salary of a guard at Munirka.
CBI sources said that the agency received a complaint against Chowdhary Somdutt, Supervisor, that he was allegedly seeking a bribe of Rs 10,000 for releasing four-month salary of a guard working under him.
They said the agency laid a trap and caught Somdutt while he was taking Rs 7,000 as bribe.
