Celekt, a multi-brand retail stores brand today said it was planning to open 200 outlets across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana soon and foraying into Maharashtra market by September this year.
According to a press release issued by the retail chain, Celekt bought over allthe stores of another popular brand "Univercell" across Telugu states.
"The expansion plans includes opening of "200" stores across telugu states soon..also the company is making its foray into Maharashtra market by September 2018.
There are huge plans ahead and with popular star "NTR" being roped in as a brand ambassador, we're looking at huge campaign ahead," Y Guru founder and CEO of Celekt said.
Celekt aims to reach the top position in telugu states in the next one year and would be looking forward to becoming the largest retail brand of the country in next 3 years, he added.
He, however, did not disclose the the deal value of Univercell buyout citing a Non-Disclosure Agreement between both the companies.
