Census official's wife injured in stone pelting

Deputy Registrar in Census Department R C Sethi and his wife were returning from Gulmarg hill resort when their official vehicle was targeted by the youths at Bemina this afternoon, police said.

Sethi's wife was hit by a stone on the head and required 11 stitches, the police said.

The vehicle was also damaged in the incident.
