William Kerry, who is in-charge of Central Railways Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sevak scheme, was booked today for allegedly abetting the victim, Anita Patel (22), to commit suicide by immolating self, the police said here today.
"The victim's parents filed a complaint against Kerry after which the latter was charged with abetment of suicide," Deputy Police Commissioner (Zone 1) Ravindra Shisve said.
However, the police did not arrest him saying that the probe and statement recording process of railway authorities are underway.
The probe into the case indicated that she was highly disturbed since she could not begin her work under Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sevak scheme due to administrative reasons.
