Union Minister Jitendra Singh today said the Centre was well aware of the problems faced by the Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) and any decision regarding the coummunity would be taken only after considering their aspirations.
"The Government of India is well aware of the problems being faced by the Kashmiri Pandit community and all the options would be discussed keeping in view their aspirations," the Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said here.
On the delay in the government formation in the Jammu and Kashmir, the Union minister said there are certain authorised people and only they can comment on the issue.
"It is not right for me to comment on the issue. We have designated leaders in the party who are authorised to speak on it," Singh said.
He said in all forms of governance, the democratically elected government was perhaps the best one.
On a question regarding the dialogue process with Pakistan following the Pathankot terror attack, Singh said the External Affairs Ministry and the Security Agencies would decide the future course of action.
"Our External Affairs Ministry and our national security agencies take in view the every day happening in the country and keeping in view they decide the future course of action," he said.
On the Opposition's demand of removal of two Union ministers over the suicide by a Dalit research scholar in the Hyderabad Central University, Singh said that the government has already made its stand clear.
"Government has already made its position very clear as everything has been said by the HRD Minister and there is nothing to add to it," Singh said.
Reacting to the statement given by Independent MLA Engineer Rashid threatening a BJP worker, Singh said that the law and order agencies of the state should take a call on it.
"It is upto the people who control the law and order in the state. Let they study and take a lead. I have not gone through the statement and it is for the concerned authorities to take a view on this," he said.
