He said that in an "atmosphere of fear in the society, development of neither men, women or children is possible".
"The BJP government is committed to providing secured atmosphere for the society, especially the women...It will fully co-operate with the Delhi government in its security campaign and fulfil its responsibility," Naidu said while inaugurating the installation of a CCTV network in RK Puram area last evening.
Naidu added that vigilance through CCTV cameras provides a sense of security.
Praising the efforts of outgoing RK Puram MLA Anil Sharma in getting the CCTV installation done, Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay, lamented the shortage of funds in taking such initiatives.
"The local police and the public representatives are handicapped due to the lack of fund in providing security through installing CCTVs at public places," he said.
