Cera Sanitaryware Q4 net profit surges 35% to Rs 30 crore

Cera Sanitaryware today reported a 34.78 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 29.8 crore for the March quarter.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 22.11 crore in the January-march quarter of last fiscal.
Cera's net sales rose 12.03 per cent to Rs 280.59 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 250.44 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing.
For the entire 2015-16 fiscal, the company posted a net profit of Rs 83.46 crore compared with Rs 67.66 crore a year ago.
Net sales of the company stood at Rs 933.68 crore during the fiscal as against Rs 821.66 crore in 2014-15.
In a separate filing, Cera Sanitaryware said that its Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of Rs 9 per share.
Cera Sanitaryware shares today closed 4.70 per cent higher at Rs 1968.50 apiece on BSE.
