Chinese business tycoon leaves for Bangkok from Tripura

China's realty major Dalian Wanda group head Wang Jianlin along with four businessmen, today flew to Bangkok from here by a chartered plane (VTGH) from where they would fly to Beijing, a police official said.
Jianlin, along with four businessmen and four crew members survived a scare on Thursday after his private jet developed a snag and landed under emergency conditions in Agartala.
He was on a four-day visit to India on an the invitation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Superintendent of Police (Police Control), Uttam Bhowmick said, a chartered plane from Mumbai (VTHGL) arrived here today by which four passengers, including Wang Jianlin, flew to Bangkok at 2-35 pm from where they would fly to Beijing.
He said, four crew members of the aircraft which made a force landing at the Agartala airport yesterday remained here and a technical team would arrive here for repair of the plane.
Wang was on his way back to Beijing after completing his business visit to India, during which he announced his plans to invest USD 5 billion in developing industrial townships in the country.
"The Gulfstream-5 aircraft made an emergency landing around 11:30am after the pilot reported a snag in the engine and took permission from the Agartala ATC," an ATC source said.
Wang, the richest man in China, stayed at a Rajdhani hotel in Agartala and was provided with full security, the SP said.
