Churu in Rajasthan sizzles at 49 deg C

Severe heat waves conditions prevailed in most of parts of Rajasthan where Churu was the hottest place in the state where mercury touched the 49 degrees Celsius mark.
Temperature at many places rose by 1-4 degree Celsius as compared to yesterday.
Churu was followed by Sriganganagar which temperature was recorded 48.3 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer 47 degrees Celsius, Kota 46.4 degrees Celsius , Barmer 46.2 degress Celsius, Bikaner 46.1 degrees Celsius, Pilani 45.7 degrees Celsius, Jaipur 44.3 degrees Celsius, Jodhpur 43.9 degrees Celsius, Ajmer 43.7 degrees Celsius and Dabok 43 degree Celsius.
Minimum temperature hovered between 26.6 degrees Celsius and 32.4 degree Celsius in prominent cities of the state.

No rainfall was recorded as weather remained dry in last 24 hours.
According to MeT department weather likely to remain dry in the state and temperature rise slightly.
Heat waves condition is likely to occur at few places in the state during next 24 hours, said weathermen.
