Cirque du Soleil shows cancelled amid coronavirus outbreak

Entertainment company Cirque du Soleil has temporarily suspended its productions in Las Vegas as well as around the world to control the spread of novel coronavirus.

According to Billboard, the shows that will be cancelled effective Sunday are "O" at the Bellagio, "KA" at MGM Grand, "The Beatles LOVE" at the Mirage, "Mystere" at Treasure Island, "Zumanity" at New York-New Yoek and "Michael Jackson ONE" at Mandalay Bay.

Shows in Austin, Chicago, Houston, New Orleans, Salt Lake City, Montreal, Boston, Tel Aviv, Meloneras, Spain, Munich, Costa Mesa, California, Denver, and the Australian cities of Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth have also been called off.

COVID-29, which originated in China, has claimed over 6,500 lives and infected more than 169,000 people over 135 countries and territories.
