Citric acid declines on reduce offtake

Citric acid prices drifted lower by Rs 50 per 50 kg at the wholesale chemical market in the national capital on Tuesday in view of reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.

Citric acid (China) declined by Rs 50 to conclude at Rs 3,350-4,350 per 50 kg.

Traders said increased arrivals from producing belts against reduced offtake by consuming units mainly pulled down citric acid.
