The Tamil Nadu-based bank had reported a net profit of Rs 82.47 crore during the same period of previous year.
For the financial year ended March 2014, the net profit of the bank grew 7.78 per cent to Rs 347.07 crore from Rs 322.01 crore registered during the same period of previous year, City Union Bank said in a BSE filing.
The total income of the bank for the quarter ended March 31 rose to Rs 726.26 crore from Rs 677.98 crore registered during the corresponding period last year.
The board of directors of the bank have recommended a dividend of 100 per cent for the financial year 2013-2014, subject to approval of the shareholders, it added.
