Cloudy morning in city; light rains predicted

The residents of Delhi today woke up to a cloudy morning with the minimum temperature settling at 24.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is possibility of light rains or thundershowers in some areas of the national capital.
Humidity recorded till 8.30 AM was 84 per cent which slightly caused discomfort to Delhiites.
"There will be light rains or thundershowers in some areas later in the day. Maximum temperature is expected to settle at 35 degrees Celsius," an official of the IMD said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperature were recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively.
