The man, identified by police only as "Nair Sir" who taught at Siddhivinayak Classes, was apprehended last night after the girl's family lodged a complaint.
According to the complaint, the tutor yesterday called the minor and showed pictures of her he had taken on his camera mobile phone. He then touched her inappropriately several times.
Following the complaint, police arrested the accused and booked him under relevant sections of the IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
