Coffee table book on Tihar Jail to be released on June 18

Tihar Jail authorities are planning to launch a coffee table book highlighting the various reformative and rehabilitative measures taken by them besides pictures of daily routine activities in the prison.
The book will be launched on June 18 at the Air Force Auditorium here, and the programme will be followed by a fashion show involving jail inmates wearing clothing made and designed within Tihar under the guidance of noted fashion designer Rina Dhaka, Tihar jail PRO Sunil Kumar said.
The book will feature pictorial depiction of the memories of Jail inmates and authorities which have been a remarkable milestone in its journey. Various reformative and rehabilitative activities that are a part of jail's daily routine will be also be seen in the book, Kumar said.

'Flying Souls', the Tihar music band, will also perform and a new logo of Delhi Prison's Brand 'TJ' is also scheduled to be launched on the same day, he said.
