The maximum temperature at the Safdarjung observatory whose reading is considered to be the official temperature for the city, was recorded three notches below the season's average at 15.9 degrees Celsius and 0.4 degrees less than yesterday's maximum, MeT department officials said.
The minimum settled three points below the normal and two degrees less than yesterday's minimum at 5 degrees Celsius.
The visibility was recorded 600 meters at 5.30 AM and 500 meters at 11.30 AM, 2.30 PM and 5.30 pm.
The MeT has predicted a clear sky for tomorrow with moderate to dense fog in the morning.
"It will be mainly a clear sky tomorrow. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 16 and 4 degrees Celsius respectively," said the MeT forecast.
