Collector inspects BC welfare hostel after food poisoning

Kadapa District Collector K V Ramana inspected the backward caste welfare hostel, in which 25 girl students suffered food poisoning yesterday, official sources said here today.
He assured drinking water supply to the hostel and ordered closure of the graveyard, located opposite the hostel building.
The collector visited the hostel on Saturday warned welfare officer Maddilati Reddy and the warden for not maintaining quality of foodgrains.
He told reporters that after receiving the enquiry report, action will be initiated against those responsible.
