NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development) has sanctioned a loan of Rs 112.60 crore to Haryana Government for construction of this college, an official release said here today.
The college will be set up under Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, it said.
It would facilitate creation of trained manpower which could provide veterinary care and breeding facilities to livestock efficiently, the statement said.
It will also help in better marketing of dairy products through improved dairy technology, the release said, adding, that livestock sector in Haryana is the most vibrant contributor to agriculture sector as well as the state economy.
