This information was shared by the Commerce and industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman while laying the foundation stone of sub-office of Export Inspection Council (EIC) at Visakhapatnam.
"We are going to conduct the India International Seafood Show in Visakhapatnam," the commerce ministry said in a statement quoting Sitharaman.
She also assured full support to the sector to facilitate the exports.
The minister informed that the sub-office complex will be supported with state-of-the-art laboratory with latest facilities and sophisticated instruments to meet the analytical requirements of seafood industries at Visakhapatnam.
