The commission will be chaired by S P Sharma, a retired IAS officer, an official spokesperson said.
He said the other members of the Commission included Additional Deputy Commissioner, District Town Planner and Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies.
The Commission would sort out issues related to membership and plots of aggrieved persons by deciding their eligibility under the provisions of relevant Act or rule and bye laws, the spokesperson said.
The Commission would reconcile and ascertain the authenticity of the assets that is, the total land of the society at various places and total deposits of society in various banks as well amount deposited by the applicants or claimants or members in the society.
It would be the duty of the commission to assess the assets and liabilities of the said society.
