In the complaint case filed in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) S.P. Singh under sections 504, 323, 124B, 308 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code, a local advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha has charged these 21 MPs, including three unnamed ones, with bringing Indian democracy to shame by using pepper spray on fellow members and scuffling with them in the Lok Sabha during introduction of the Telangana statehood bill yesterday.
Ojha said that he felt hurt by the conduct of these MPs while watching them indulge in shameful activities in the Parliament yesterday and reading about it in the newspapers subsequently.
The Petitioner pleaded with the court to take cognizance of the shameful conduct of the accused MPs which amounted to sedition and issue summons against them.
