"We strongly condemned the cowardly act of Pakistan in mutilating an army soldier and killing of two other jawans in an ambush by in Machhail sector of North Kashmir", JKPCC Chief Gulam Ahmed Mir said.
Pakistan by undertaking such a cowardly and barbaric action has given a big provocation, he said adding that violation of all international norms and worst human rights violations cannot be tolerated.
He saluted the martyrs and expressed sympathies with their family members.
Mir said escalation of situation on the border and LoC by Pakistan in the aftermath of surgical strikes since September 29, is matter of great concern as over 300 ceasefire violations have taken place since then and repeated incidence of killing and mutilation of the body of over soldiers.
