After withdrawing support to BJP-led government on January 8, JMM leader Hemant Soren had sought more time from Governor Syed Ahmed as his party was in dialogue with the Congress leadership in providing a new alternative. However, soon after the state was placed under President's rule and the House was kept under suspended animation.
