Copper prices were down by Rs 2 per kg at the local non-ferrous metals market today due to sluggish demand from consuming industries.
However, other base metal traded in a tight range in scattered deals and settled at last levels.
Traders said weak demand from consuming industries mainly helped copper prices to trade lower.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap declined by Rs 2 to Rs 438 per kg.

Zinc ingot 109-115, Nickel plate (4x4) 1,090-1,096, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 438, Chadri deshi 285.
