"We have filed an application with the RBI to upgrade our representative offices in Dubai and Hong Kong into full- fledged branches. We wish to convert them into branches as early as possible," Corporation Bank Chairman and Managing Director S R Bansal told reporters here.
At present, the Mangalore-based bank does not have any branch abroad.
Meanwhile, Bansal inaugurated the bank's 'e-Lobby' facility at Urmi in Akota locality here which has self-service automation kiosks and an ATM.
The bank's net profit grew 16.2 per cent to Rs 147.20 crore in the quarter ended December from Rs 126.69 crore in the same period year-ago period.
