Couple murdered by relatives in UP

A 40-year-old man and his wife were stabbed to death by their uncle and aunt apparently in an act of revenge in Jajjar locality here this morning.
Mahesh and his wife Jyoti (35) were found in a pool of blood at their uncle's place in Bisva where they had gone during this festive season, police said.
While Jyoti was found dead, Mahesh was rushed to a community health centre where before breathing his last he told police that he and his wife were stabbed by their uncle Bhagirath and aunt Taradevi.
Bhagirath, who was arrested by police after a hunt late in the afternoon, told police during interrogation that Mahesh had raped his aunt Taradevi in 2009 and was blackmailing her since then, ASP Hardayal Singh said.

Bhagirath who had came to know of the incident in March this year said that he was looking for an opportunity to kill Mahesh, Singh said.
