The Cowardly Lion costume featured in Hollywood classic 'The Wizard Of Oz' is set to hit the auction block.
The outfit was worn by actor Bert Lahr in the 1939 movie, in which he starred alongside Judy Garland as Dorothy,, reported Independent.
It is expected to be a big draw at the Bonhams New York sale after a secondary lion costume from the film previously sold in recent years for almost USD 1 million.
The unique lot also features a sculpted likeness of the late Lahr, according to a spokesman for owner James Comisar.
