"Our party has directed me not to vote," party MLA Vinod Kumar Singh told PTI.

Singh, who had not voted in the countermanded March-30 polls alleging horse trading, said the party was disappointed with the happenings around the Rajya Sabha elections and preferred to stay away from the voting.

With Singh opting to stay away, 79 MLAs will cast their votes. There is a nominated MLA and a vacant seat in the 82-member Jharkhand Assembly.
