Create awareness about govt's programmes: Bahuguna to CM

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna today said solving problems of the common man was his priority and asked Congress workers and public representatives to create awareness among people about welfare programmes of his government.
Addressing party functionaries and workers at the Pradesh Congress office here, Bahuguna said creating awareness about welfare programmes among people was necessary to help the targeted beneficiaries avail of these schemes.
He asked people's representatives belonging to the party in the state assembly and on elected civic bodies to apprise the state government about problems faced by people in their areas so that steps could be taken to address them.

Party workers, MLAs and Municipal Councillors could play an important role in this task, he said.
