Elephant teeth worth Rs 25 lakh seized in Bihar

Elephant teeth, worth about Rs 25 lakh and used for manufacturing Chinese medicine, was seized and three persons were arrested in Araria district, the police said today.
The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel nabbed three persons at Raniganj bus stand late last night and recovered 10 kg elephant teeth kept in three bags.
The teeth were being smuggled from Nepal into India, the sources said adding the three were handed over to the police.
