Sculptures of animals and birds would form part of the park in the city which had been selected as smart city.
The work on the first phase of the Smart City had begun at a cost of Rs 200 crore and the important sites of the city including tourists attractions like Thirumalai Naicker Palace temples, parks, railway stations and bus stands would be cleaned and beautified.
Parts of old corporation vehicles lying idle for decades would also be used to make the artefacts for the proposed museum, Corporation Commisisoner Sandeep Nanduri said.
