Officials of the Air Intelligence Unit of Customs today seized around one kg gold from two persons at Biju Patnaik International Airport here.
The two persons were intercepted and searched as they were moving in a suspicious manner after their arrival from Bangkok and Dubai, an official said.
Gold weighing about one kg and valued at around Rs 31 lakh was recovered from the two passengers hailing from Delhi and Odisha following search, he said.
Earlier on June 21, Customs officials at the airport had seized gold weighing 295 gram and valued at over Rs 9.2 lakh from a passenger who had arrived from Bangkok,
