Cyient unveils solutions for 5G service providers

: City-based IT firm Cyient Limited Monday said it has introduced services and solutions to facilitate communication service providers (CSPs) expedite 5G network rollouts globally.

The service would define the migration roadmap towards the 5G NSA (non-standalone) standard and help plan smarter and faster rollouts, including site verification and benchmarking in post-deployment operations, a press release said here.

For the 5G planning phase, Cyients LiDAR-enabled surveying service and drone-based mobile 3D survey capabilities can identify areas for 5G rollout, the release said.

This is further combined with geographic information system (GIS)-based coverage analysis to provide more inputs for optimal site planning, it said.

Also, Cyient offers solutions in a portable and cloud-native form along with propagation modelling, single cell function test, multi-cell function test and passive inter-module testing services for verification of availability and performance of the deployed networks, the release said.

''We're in an era where pace of innovation is only growing with 5G bringing in opportunities for players in the areas of virtualisation, automation, analytics and applications,'' Sanjay Krishna of Cyient said in the release.

With 5G accelerator services, Cyient aims to further simplify the network and operational complexity for customer service points (CSPs) thereby setting the framework for implementing high-levels of network automation and analytics, the release added.
