Dalgate fire: CM directs early relief to affected families

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti today expressed grief over the fire incident in Srinagar and directed the divisional administration to provide all necessary assistance to the affected families.
The Chief Minister has directed the divisional administration of Kashmir to provide all necessary assistance to the affected families, an official release said, adding the process may be expedited in view of the coming winter season.
A 75-year-old man was killed and over a dozen houses were charred in a major fire that broke out yesterday morning in Dalgate area of Srinagar.
