Dalit woman gang-raped in Rajkot, two held

A Dalit woman was allegedly abducted and gang-raped here by three persons while she was returning to home with her brother-in-law, police said today.
While two of the accused were arrested this evening, the third one is at large.
The incident took place last evening near Morbi Road area, when the woman was returning home along with her brother-in-law on a scooter, they said.
The accused allegedly intercepted them and beat up the victim's brother-in-law, police said.
They took the woman to a nearby abandoned house and raped her at knife point, police said, adding that the victim lodged an FIR against the three.

Primary investigation revealed that the victim and one of the accused were residents of same locality and she had close relations with the latter's sister-in-law.
Police have not disclosed the identity of the accused.
