Speaking to reporters Union Labour Minister Dattatreya said both Centre and the State Government officials would participate in the event and as many as 100 such melas would be organised throughout the country up to April 14, 2017.
In such melas, awards will also be given to encourage cashless transactions, he added.
"The objective is to see that some digital transactions are also done on that day," Dattatreya said, adding, the melas would be held in Warangal and Nizamabad as well.
A senior State Government official said though the Centre wanted it be held one day, the Telangana Government wanted it to hold for two days to encourage people towards digitalisation.
The official said they expect as many as 80 stalls will be put up by banks, mobile wallet companies and agriculture related establishments.
