Former professional football player David Beckham is a self-confessed fan of "Phantom Thread", which stars veteran actor Daniel Day-Lewis in the lead.
The 42-year-old retired sportsperson shared his thoughts on Paul Thomas Anderson's six-time Oscar nominated movie in his Instagram story.
Beckham clicked pictures while watching the film, using words such as "genius", "wow" and even a heart emoji to express his fandom.
Mark Bridges won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design for the period drama.
Day-Lewis, who has officially retired after the film, received a nod in the Best Actor segment for the film as a proper send-off.
"Phantom Thread" was also nominated in the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress and Best Original Score categories.
