The day temperature in Jammu dipped eight notches due cloud cover in the region, even as the Met forecast wet weather for the next four days.
The maximum temperature recorded in the city settled at 33.6 degrees Celsius, 4.1 notches below the normal during this part of the season, a spokesman of the meteorological (Met) department said.
He said the minimum temperature, however, continued to stay slightly above the normal at 27.1 degrees Celsius against the previous night's 28.8 degrees Celsius.
The spokesman said wet weather is likely for the next six days, with widespread rains on Thursday and Friday followed by fairly widespread rains till July 1.
