DCB Bank's rally builds further, shares up 11% post Q4 results

Maintaining its winning streak, DCB Bank shares today climbed nearly 11 per cent after the lender reported a 10.5 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended March 31.
The stock soared 10.58 per cent to settle at Rs 97.20 on BSE. During the day, it zoomed 12.96 per cent to Rs 99.30.
On NSE, the scrip advanced by 10.87 per cent to close at Rs 97.35.
In terms of volume, 12.32 lakh shares of the company were traded at BSE and over 92 lakh shares changed hands at NSE during the day.
The stock had gained over 5 per cent on Monday. Markets were closed yesterday for 'Mahavir Jayanti'.
DCB Bank on Friday reported a 10.5 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 70 crore for the March quarter as against Rs 63 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income of the company grew 19.9 per cent to Rs 509.6 crore, from Rs 425.1 crore a year ago.
Overall provisions rose to Rs 27.3 crore, from the earlier Rs 14.3 crore.
DCB Bank's gross non-performing assets ratio improved to 1.51 per cent compared with 1.76 per cent last year. Its net NPA ratio stood at 0.75 per cent as against the earlier 1.01 per cent.
