Decomposed body of Rly officer found in his quarters

The decomposed body of a Railway officer was recovered from his official quarters here recently but nothing unnatural was found in the post-mortem report, police said today.
The body of 32-year-old Sourabh Kumar, a purchase officer of Railways store department, was found on September 23 after police broke into the quarters following complaints by locals that foul smell was emanating from there, they said.
According to police, Kumar, who was a quiet person and kept to himself, stayed alone and was unmarried.
His family members rushed to Kharagpur from Hajipur in Bihar the next day and filed an FIR with the local police station.

While the post-mortem conducted on the body found nothing unnatural, the report of the viscera test is still awaited, the police said.
