Defence land in Purnea to be transferred to KV school

The government has decided to transfer 12.91 acres of defence land at the air force station in Bihar's Purnea district to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Union Cabinet charied by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad told reporters here.
The transferred land will be used to upgrade and refurbish the KV school there, he said.
