Highlighting lack of development in villages and unauthorised colonies and with an eye on municipal elections later this year, Delhi BJP's executive committee today passed resolutions slamming the AAP government for its "failures" in providing basic facilities and security to women in the city.
Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari asked party workers to dedicate three months for their victory in MCD elections and begin the "process of the end of the Kejriwal government".
The resolution also envisages to work for getting amended relevant sections in ther Land Acquisition Act to solve the problems of villagers, agitating on problems of water and toilets in unauthorised colonies and to pressurise the Kejriwal government for regularisation of such colonies.
It also took note of "total failure" of the Kejriwal government on "all fronts" including education, health, public transport, women safety, "lack" of any new development project and "poor maintenance" of roads.
The resolution also condemned the city government for its alleged "lack of coordination" with central government and civic bodies causing "hardships" to the people.
"AAP government in Delhi has completed two years but the conditions have become worse," Tiwari said.
The executive meet also "strongly condemned" Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his "constant absence" from Delhi despite "enjoying all facilities" at the "cost of" Delhi's exchequer.
The second part of the resolution congratulated the Modi government for "successful implementation" of demonetisation and extended support to its efforts to develop a cashless economy.
