Chief Secretary Kewal Kumar Sharma today said the Urban Development Department is in the final stage of firming up the draft of the new bye-laws.
Sharma said the new bye-laws will be notified over the next few days and the process of application is also being simplified by the government.
"The process is being simplified. An applicant will just have to fill one centralised online form. The application would automatically be forwarded to the agencies concerned like MCD, Delhi Jal Board, fire department etc... The building certificate will be issued in 21 days," Sharma said at a programme at Delhi Secretariat.
