As rush in banks and ATMs in the wake of demonetisation continues, group C and D employees have been given the option to draw their salary advance up to Rs 10,000 in cash and this amount would be adjusted in their salary for November to be paid in December 2016, according to a circular issued by the Principal Accounts Office, Delhi government.
"The procedure for disbursement of salary advance as issued by the Joint Controller General of Accounts, Govt of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, Office of CGA, New Delhi vide cash dated November 17 will be followed by the DDOs/HOOs.
