The day temperature was registered at 39.2 degree Celsius which was three above normal and significantly higher than yesterday's 37.5 degree Celsius.
Minimum temperature remained normal for this part of the year settling at 27.8 degree Celsius. However, this too was considerably higher than previous day's 25.2 degree Celsius.
Maximum humidity was recorded at 79 per cent while minimum remained at 42 per cent.
The weather office has predicted generally cloudy sky tomorrow with possibility of rain and thundershowers in some areas. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be at 36 and 28 deg C, respectively.
