Ravi was allegedly attacked and his genitals chopped off by the woman at her house in outer Delhi's Mangolpuri area after he refused to get intimate with her.
The woman's brother and sister-in-law, who were present in the house when the incident occurred and were allegedly instrumental in instigating her, have been detained for questioning.
"The woman has left her cell phone at home and we are not able to track her through technical surveillance," a police official said.
However, Ravi refused, saying his family was against it.
The victim told police that the woman then pushed him inside the bathroom, undressed him and forced him to have sex with her.
When he refused, she chopped off the man's genitals with a kitchen knife.
The victim is currently admitted at the Jaipur Golden Hospital.
