The followers of Dera Sacha Sauda and Sikhs from radical outfits had clashed at Dhudike village last month over holding of a congregation by the Sect disciples.
After the clash, police booked some 80 people, inclduing around 20 by name. However, the Sect followers demanded stringent action against those involved in attacking them in a bid to prevent them from holding congregation at Dhudike village in Moga district.
Seeking stringent action against the accused listed in the FIR registered on November 26 after the clash, the Dera followers decided to postpone their call for road blockade following an assurance given by the police, the Sect said.
Meanwhile, normalcy prevailed at Dhudike with police personnel deployed at strength.
