"Despite the growing tendency of watching videos on handsets, different studies revealed that people's interest in watching television in all age brackets has not declined. In fact, it is increasing," DISH TV's senior vice president (marketing) Sukhpreet Singh, told reporters.
Singh was in the city to launch DISH TV's "Mera Apna Pack" and "Swagat Pack" in the Madhya Pradesh market.
He said people watching videos on cell phones is a good sign for the entertainment industry.
To a poser, he said even now many cable operators in the country have not come under the ambit of regulation and they are the ones who have become a big nuisance for both the government and the public.
It would be better if they are brought under the regulation soon, he added.
