Speaking to reporters, he said he had sent letters to the presiding officers of both houses a fortnight ago on reserving the first two days for the issue, apart from making a similar demand in a letter to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. But unfortunately none has communicated back.
Both BJP and Congress are playingwith the farmers and people of this region, he alleged.
He also charged that Siddaramaiah "is very adamant" and due to this tendency, he has not been able solve many issues of North Karnataka region.
Horatti demanded an immediate announcement on supportive price to onion and sugarcane for the ensuing year.
