The state Health Minister, Vipin Singh Parmar, said it is a government's mission to reduce the cases of worm infection among kids all over India.
"During the programme, 19 lakh children between the age group of 1 to 19 years will be given the deworming medicine, which include the children of 14,873 government and 3,173 private schools. Children of 18,925 aganwaris will also be touched, Parmar said.
In Sulah, 455 children were administered the dose today in the presence of the health minister.
The minister also guided the children on how to prevent themselves from the worming decease.
